Ross Epstein
CEO and co-founder of STOIK, LLC and inventor of KORBOARD. UNC Kenan-Flagler MBA. 15 years in the aerospace industry as a Marine Corps MV22 pilot, following five years as a mechanical design engineer for Champion Aerospace, Parker Aerospace, and Lockheed Martin. Early employee of ICON Aircraft. Motocross racer, SCUBA diver, skydiver.
Charles Davidson
COO and co-founder of STOIK, LLC. UNC Kenan-Flagler MBA. Former college and professional baseball player. 15 years in management consulting and strategy & operations. Hiking and Bernese Mountain Dogs.
John White
Over 30 years as a professional engineer — Yamaha, Sturm Ruger, and a distinguished career at John Deere. Combines a lifelong passion for custom woodworking with his engineering background. Joined STOIK to build a skilled technical workforce and mass-produce high-quality, American-made products.
Max Ridgeway
Director of Marketing at STOIK, LLC, and the developer behind KORBOARD’s digital products: the website, the training programs, and the iOS app. Leads brand, creative, and campaign work, from the ad library to the daily social program. Focused on putting the board in front of the athletes who will actually use it.
Amy Martinez
Former Division I golfer at Montana State University, roller derby skater, and 25+ year corporate finance executive. Amy leads STOIK’s events and community experiences, putting the KORBOARD directly into the hands of athletes at races, festivals, competitions, and training events. A CrossFit athlete, Spartan competitor, and lifelong mover, she brings decades of executive experience and a genuine connection to the athletic community to every STOIK event.
Mason Martinez
A freak of nature. An athlete with truly exceptional strength, endurance, and body control. From one-handed hanging L-sits and dragon flags to sub-six-minute miles, his athletic range is difficult to match. A U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant and former police officer, Mason brings extensive experience as a CrossFit trainer, exercise curriculum developer, and fitness content creator. He is an advanced calisthenics practitioner and the first person to perform quadruple-digit KORSQUATs in a single set, completing 1,001 consecutive reps. As STOIK’s top athlete affiliate and foundational social media content creator, Mason has helped define what high-level performance with the KORBOARD looks like.

We spent two years prototyping this thing before we shipped a single unit. Forty-seven revisions. A lot of shattered birch. The board you order today is the version we finally could not break.
We are a small team. Every board is inspected before it leaves the workshop. Every email is read. If you own a KORBOARD, you are part of how this company runs.

We source FSC-certified bamboo and hard maple from mills within a day's drive. Every panel is CNC-milled, hand-finished, and stamped with a serial number.
Anchors and hardware are machined to 6061-T6 aluminum tolerances. QC tests every unit to 300 lbs of pull before it ships.
