Terms of service

1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and STOIK Innovations, LLC ("STOIK," "we," "us," "our"), a North Carolina limited liability company. By visiting korboard.com, downloading or using the KORBOARD mobile app (the "App"), creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise interacting with the site or the App (together, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you don't agree with any part of these Terms, please don't use the Services.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase products from us. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account on the Services. If you are purchasing on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
Please read the Dispute Resolution section below carefully — it requires most disputes to be resolved through binding individual arbitration and contains a class-action waiver.
2. Products & Pricing
We work hard to describe our products accurately, including dimensions, load ratings, materials, and finishes. Despite that effort, we do not warrant that product descriptions, images, or other content are free of every error. Colors may render differently on your screen than in person.
All prices are in US Dollars and are subject to change without notice. If we discover a pricing error after you've placed an order, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund you in full, or contact you to confirm the corrected price before shipping. Applicable sales tax is calculated and shown at checkout based on your shipping address.
Promotional offers may have additional terms, which we will disclose alongside the offer.
3. Orders
When you submit an order, you are making an offer to buy. Your payment authorization alone does not complete the sale. We accept your order when we send a shipping confirmation email with tracking. Until that point, we may decline the order for any reason, including suspected fraud, inventory shortfall, or pricing/description errors. If we decline, we will refund any charge promptly.
Order changes or cancellations can be requested by emailing support@stoikinnovations.com, but we cannot guarantee changes once an order has entered production or shipping.
4. Shipping
We offer free standard shipping within the contiguous United States. International and expedited options, delivery timelines, and carrier details are covered in full on our Shipping & Returns page.
Title and risk of loss pass to you when the product is delivered to the shipping carrier at our North Carolina facility. We'll always help you file a carrier claim if a package is lost or damaged in transit.
5. Returns & Warranty
We offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery on unused product in original condition. Our boards carry a limited structural warranty on frames and a 2-year warranty on bands, hardware, and matting, covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty does not cover normal wear, cosmetic damage, misuse, or modifications.

6. User Content
If you post a review, rating, comment, video, or social-media post using #KORBOARD or tagging us (@korboard, @stoikinnovations), you grant STOIK a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to reproduce, distribute, and display that content across our website, App, email, and social channels, always with credit to your handle or name.
You represent that your content is yours to post, does not infringe anyone else's rights, and is not unlawful, harassing, or obscene. We can remove or decline to post content at our discretion.
7. Intellectual Property
The names KORBOARD, KORBANDS, KORBAR, KORSTICK, KORPAD, STOIK, and STOIK Innovations, along with our logos, product photography, illustrations, and written content, are our trademarks and copyrighted material. The KORBOARD system is protected under one or more issued U.S. patents and additional patents pending.
You may not copy, reproduce, manufacture, or sell products that imitate our designs, use our marks without written permission, or scrape our site to build a competing offering. Editorial use of product names for legitimate commentary or reviews is fine and welcomed.
8. Prohibited Use
- Automated scraping, crawling, or harvesting of the Services outside what robots.txt allows.
- Reverse engineering, disassembling, or otherwise attempting to derive source code of any software we provide.
- Reselling KORBOARD products without enrollment in our wholesale program.
- Using the Services to upload malware, send spam, or interfere with normal operation.
- Attempting to access accounts or systems you aren't authorized to access.
9. Your Account
An account is optional for guest checkout, but creating one gets you order history, saved addresses, and faster returns. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately at support@stoikinnovations.com if you suspect unauthorized access so we can lock the account and help you recover it.
An account is also optional in the KORBOARD App — every feature of the exercise library, workouts, leaderboard, and shop works without one. If you create an app account, the same rules above apply, and you can delete it at any time in the App under Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraud or chargeback abuse, resell outside the wholesale program, or mistreat our staff or community. Termination does not cancel your obligations for orders already placed.
10. The KORBOARD App
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the KORBOARD App for your personal, non-commercial training on any Apple-branded device you own or control, as permitted by the App Store's usage rules. You may not copy the App, rent it out, or reverse engineer it except where the law says we can't stop you.
The workout content in the App — exercises, workouts of the day, difficulty labels — is general fitness guidance, not medical advice. The "Train Smart" disclaimers below apply to everything in the App.
The App sells nothing directly. Tapping a product in the App opens korboard.com, and any purchase you make there is governed by the ordering, shipping, returns, and warranty sections of these Terms.
We are always improving the App, which means features may be added, changed, or retired, and updates may be required for it to keep working. If we ever discontinue the App entirely, we will give reasonable notice.
11. KORBOARD Pro
The core App — the exercise library, workouts of the day, the leaderboard, and the shop — is free. KORBOARD Pro is an optional paid upgrade that unlocks additional features, which we describe in the App and on the App Store listing at the time you buy.
Pro is purchased through Apple's In-App Purchase system and billed to your Apple ID. Apple handles the payment — we never see your card details. Prices are shown in the App before you confirm, in your local currency, and may change for future billing periods; if a price increases, you'll be notified per Apple's rules and can cancel before it takes effect.
If Pro is offered as a subscription, it renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel it any time in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions — deleting the App does not cancel a subscription. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep Pro access through the end of the period you've already paid for.
Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not us — you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you switch devices or reinstall, use Restore Purchases in the App's settings to bring your Pro access back at no charge. Free features stay free — cancelling Pro never locks you out of the core App.
12. Apple App Store Terms
Because you get the App through Apple's App Store, Apple requires that we both acknowledge the following. These Terms are between you and STOIK only — not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App; that's on us.
If the App ever fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund any purchase price you paid for the App; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the App, and everything else falls to us as described in these Terms.
STOIK, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App — including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, claims under consumer protection or similar laws, and any third-party claim that the App infringes intellectual property rights.
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated as "terrorist supporting," and that you are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You must also comply with any third-party terms that apply when using the App (for example, your wireless data agreement).
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms as they relate to the App, and Apple may enforce them against you as such.
13. Disclaimers — Train Smart
Resistance training with the KORBOARD is a physical activity. Follow the included instructions. Workout content in the App and on the site is general fitness information — it is not medical advice, and it is not tailored to your personal health situation. Consult a physician before starting any new training program, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, are recovering from an injury, or have been sedentary for a while. Warm up properly, start with appropriate resistance, and progress gradually. Stop immediately if you feel pain. You use KORBOARD products at your own risk.
Inspect your board and bands before each session. Retire bands that show tears, abrasion, or UV fading. Keep children and pets clear of the training area. We are not responsible for injuries arising from use that contradicts our instructions, modified equipment, or training performed under the influence of alcohol or impairing substances.
The Services and all content are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, except for the product warranty expressly described above and in our policy pages. We don't warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure, and we don't warrant that third-party links or embeds are accurate.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, STOIK's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Services, or any product is capped at the amount you paid us for the product at issue in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or personal injury to the extent not caused by a defect covered under warranty.
Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
15. Dispute Resolution
Before filing anything formal, please email legal@stoikinnovations.com — we'd much rather solve it directly.
If that fails, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Services, or a KORBOARD product will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, seated in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Class-action waiver. You and STOIK agree that claims will be brought only in an individual capacity, not as part of a class or representative action. One-year claim window. Any claim must be filed within one (1) year of when it accrued, or it is waived. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual property or from pursuing small-claims matters.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
17. Changes to These Terms
We'll post updates on this page and update the "Last updated" date at the top. For material changes, we'll also give notice by email or banner before they take effect. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
